Of course, there is only a finite amount of oil.
OK... it may not run out to the last drop, but there will be a point when getting those last drops will be too costly, but you know what I mean.
Anyway, how do you see the world working then? eg
• transportation (personal, public, and shipping of supplies)
• power generation, and as natural gas is limited too, I assume electricity.
